Try to be comfortable on the day of the photo shoot; it is best to take the time to meet the photographer who will take your pictures before the pre-wedding shoot photography. Around a cafe, talk about yourself, about your story. It will get true moments.

# 2 PREPARE SEVERAL OUTFITS

Consider taking several clothes for your photo shoot: plan two to three outfits that look like you. For a live session, the casual style prevails but after all, do as you like!

# 3 CHOOSE A PLACE THAT REPRESENTS YOU

Do not hesitate to talk about the places that serve your couple to the pre-wedding photoshoot photographers: he will be able to take you to these sites or propose you places that will resemble you.

# 4 SELECTING ITEMS FOR YOUR WEDDING

Through a photo engagement session, highlight the theme you have chosen for your wedding photography. You can then share your photos on your Save the Date, your announcement and your wedding website and this will set the tone for your event. Your guests will only have to follow your choices regarding colour, style, and clothing.

# 5 PREPARING THE BUDGET

It’s a little less funny, but we must talk about it. The photographer wedding proposes to you upstream of the photo shoot an estimate including the price of his service (generally, 2 hours of session + retouches photos) as well as the displacements and the lodging, according to the place of the photo shoot. On the day of the session, you may also have to pay entrance fees to the parks/theme parks/museums that will host your session (remember to book your tickets in advance to save time and avoid disappointments!).

# 6 SIMPLY MAKE UP

One tends to think that it is necessary to mark the make-up so that it is seen in the pictures. It’s wrong. Or at least, it’s not necessarily your make-up that has to be the star in this special day but your couple. Just make-up, to be comfortable and pretty.

# 7 KEEPING SIMPLE POSES

Be natural.  This is not necessarily obvious, especially if it is the first photo shoot in which you participate, but that is why it is advisable to meet the photographer upstream. Try not to look at the goal and live this moment as you stroll between lovers. Be yourself with your attitudes, and your romanticism to. If you do not feel comfortable, do not worry: the photographer will help you relax by letting you take part in small games.

# 8 ACCEPT RETOUCHING

Photo retouching is done on your photos before they are given to you. They are essential for your photos to be the most beautiful. Editing a photo does not mean “transforming reality” or “editing.” It is to reframe it, to give it the right orientation, to look after the colors, the zones of shadow. It’s giving style to photography. For Maël, it is more a matter of “photo processing.”
